Stage Time Purpose & Activity Instructor Notes
1. Kick-Off 2-3 min Prompt: "Think of a time you had to make a fast decision. What went well—or not?" Explore emotions involved in pressure decisions.
2. Core Concepts 5-7 min Review decision process: Pause First → Gather Facts → Consider Options → Assess Impact → Commit and Review. Emphasize calm thinking and structured reasoning.
3. Guided Work Time 12-15 min Tier 1: "Decision Steps Practice" — apply five-step model to daily-life dilemmas. Tier 2: "Pressure Simulation" — teams solve timed workplace scenarios. Use timer for realism; debrief on reasoning clarity.
4. Reflection / Exit Ticket 2-3 min "What can you do to stay calm during tough choices?" "Why does slowing down improve decisions?" Highlight relationship between adaptability and smart decision-making.
