Work Order — Lesson #07
Stage Time Purpose & Activity Instructor Notes
1. Kick-Off 2-3 min Prompt: "Think of a time when a plan suddenly changed—how did you respond?" Discuss difference between reaction and response; introduce adaptability as a professional skill.
2. Core Concepts 5-7 min Review adaptability traits: Flexibility, Resilience, Curiosity, Collaboration, Composure. Use examples from daily life (schedule changes, team shifts).
3. Guided Work Time 12-15 min Tier 1: "Plan B Challenge" — groups adapt when a surprise change is introduced. Tier 2: "Curveball Scenario" — teams respond to workplace or classroom disruptions. Observe how groups problem-solve under pressure; debrief on what worked.
4. Reflection / Exit Ticket 2-3 min "What does adaptability look like in action?" "How can flexibility make you more dependable?" Encourage responses connecting adaptability with leadership and trust.
